Prospective graduate students and postdocs with a strong interest in food microbiology are welcome to join our lab.

To undergraduate students: Due to the hazardous nature of the microorganisms we work with, we cannot accommodate volunteers in our lab. Still, if you are interested in working on your BSc thesis, a work-learn/co-op project, or an NSERC-URSA project, you are more than welcome to inquire about such opportunities.

The Ulrich Freybe Food Safety Laboratory is located in room 260 in the Food, Nutrition and Health Building at the UBC Point Grey Campus. Dr. Wang’s office is in room 241 down the hall from the lab.  View map and directions
